The Story
The context for this story was set against a changing world and an evolving way of working in the middle of the Pandemic. Designed for leading consumer-focused investment & innovation firm, True, the brief for a co-working home for them and their extended family of brand partners led us to design the physical embodiment of their brand and community as the antithesis of a traditional ‘office’ and more of a destination or ‘club’ with ultimate flexibility.
For this project, we reimagined the workspace to create a destination for the way people want to work today, with an emphasis on multiple types of ‘settings’ to meet, work, zoom, socialise and even broadcast. With 2 fully stocked bars taking central stage on both the ground and first floors, 3 fully planted outdoor terraces, a suite of flexible studios, a podcast room, screening room, apartment lounge, multiple meeting rooms and zoom booths - True House is about co-working, comfort, art, culture, collaborative creativity and positive change.
The True brand family is brought to life via a metallic mesh feature wall which accommodates the display of a mix of the physical partner brand products and the digital assets ; showreels / social feeds etc. - allowing members to showcase new ideas and inspire other visitors to the space. The artworks selected are all for sale by a mix of emerging artists, giving valuable exposure to exciting new talent – and as a result, the environment is constantly evolving with fresh new ideas ( social, cultural and business ), encouraging visitors and staff to feel excited to be there, proud to belong to the community, keen to connect with others and inspired to innovate !
